i admit that i was kinda disappointed at first because this is just a nicely packaged version of vaseline's bestselling petroleum jelly.;p i was half-expecting this to have somewhat of a "cherry" sheen but all it does is keep my lips from drying. haha...which is a good thing of course. aside from the light cherry scent, i really like that this doesn't feel heavy nor sticky on my lips at all and makes for a great base before i put on lipstick or lipgloss.

this was an impulse purchase when i ran out of the body shop's concealer (the one with tea tree oil) right before a big event. wala kasing budget so i had to find a cheap alternative. hehe...;p this one worked well on my skin tone, although i'm not much of an expert on applying makeup, i still think this product did a fairly decent job in concealing my blemishes. it's cream based so easy application naman kahit na medyo sticky, i just didn't like the smell. hehe...parang amoy pomada.;p

this service wasn't included in their brochure so i'm not sure if it's really being offered at sanctuario. anyway, mas mabuti pang hindi! haha...while i loved my time at nurture spa, etong sa sanctuario...torture! pero lilinawin ko lang, i only hated their "pressing and stretching" service pero malay niyo ok yung iba. i'll post sanctuario spa details soon. i guess mabigat lang talaga yung kamay nung therapist na naassign sakin, ako naman di marunong magreklamo, nagpabugbog nalang ako sakanya. apart from being tickled to death, ang diin diin nung mga "haplos" niya sa laman ko...argh...i thought my suffering would never end. pero it did - after 4 days. kahit yung mga kasama ko sumakit ang katawan eh. grabe...

Go smooth and beautiful in minutes with our gentlest, easiest, fastest depilatory yet. So right for all those oh-so tender areas.

smooth and beautiful...yeah right. i hate this product with a passion! haha...i don't know why it's still in stores, mamaya makasunog pa yan ng balat ng ibang tao. anyway, just seconds after i applied it on my skin, parang umiinit na agad yung balat ko so i immediately tried to wash it off with cold water but it got worse, lalo na yung stinging. i got a hand towel and soaked it in water tapos yun yung pinupunas ko sa balat ko just to ease the stinging. ewan ko ba, after namula nung balat ko, bigla nalang nagkasugat sugat yung balat ko. i had to live with those nasty burns for a couple of days bago silang tuluyang natuyo tapos binakbak ko yung scabs. buti nalang di nagpeklat kungdi dedemanda ko tong andrea na to. hmmmpffftttt....

just a tip, not everything that you see in magazines is good, so choose wisely! haha...this applies not just to beauty products but to book reviews as well...;p

while i take a break from my banking woes, i'll slip in a couple of reviews. hehe...i've been searching for an affordable AND effective eye cream for quite some time now. just like what i said in my past reviews, i'm scared to death of looking old (wrinkles etc.) and i'll try my best to fight premature aging with the aid of nonsurgical means - for as long as i can.

i've been using this eye cream for almost a week now, and so far, so good. my skin doesn't get irritated and it doesn't feel sticky on my skin at all. i use it twice a day - before i go to sleep and before i go to the office in the morning. hopeully in due time i'll reap some benefits from this product. i don't have wrinkles pa naman eh, sana with the help of this product eh talagang matagal pa bago ako magkaron non! hehe...it's pretty cheap, you can get it for P150 at beauty bar, rockwell. this will probably last you a good two months - or even more, since you only need to put on a little and you're good to go.=)

definitely worth a try.=)

CHAMOMILE FACE CREAM

Particularly gentle moisturizing cream. Contains Chamomile Extract, deprived of its allergy-inducing properties to provide anti-inflammatory and extremely soothing effects, as well as Vitamins A and E that stimulate the process of epidermis revitalization. Used regularly it smoothes and nourishes the skin, maintains proper level of moisture and rejuvenates the epidermis.

Indications:
Recommended for dry, normal and sensitive skin.

Active ingredients:
Camomile Extract, Vitamins A and E

Packaging:
1.8 fl oz (50 ml)

while i like the feel of the phytoaktiv eye cream more than this product, it's still a pretty good buy. after all the sun exposure that i got in subic, my skin badly needed some moisturizing. i wasn't really impressed with nivea creme (will post a review of it soon) so i tried out ziaja after i saw it in beauty bar rockwell. just like with the phytoaktiv cream, all you need is a little and you're good to go. howeber, UNlike the phytoaktiv cream, this feels a bit sticky. a bit lang naman and after you even it out on your skin hindi ka na mukhang naglalangis. hehe...i recommend you use this before going to sleep para when you wake up in the morning super mukhang ang kinis mo and "fresh faced"...haha...it's available in other variants, the chamomile face cream is for those who have sensitive and dry skin kasi, pero there are also ziaja face creams for people who have oily, and normal skin.=)

i've posted forever flawless' service menu so that you'll get an idea of what they actually offer there.=) if money wasn't a problem what would you choose to have done on yourself, and why? =)

Another great bargain from the Allue tween line! It’s actually a “lipgloss set” – has four shades, and comes complete with a lipbrush and a built-in mirror. It actually comes pretty handy if you don’t have that much space in your kikay kit.=) It comes in three “themes” but I like Sophia the best, the colors are more “workable” and suited for my age – peach, light pink, red, and berry pink, you can also opt to mix some of the shades together to get the color that will best suit you.

I decided to try out this new teen makeup line from Thailand after seeing that their lip gloss only costs P68. hehe…I got it at Watsons (MOA branch), while the saleslady tried her best to assist me - she kept on asking me if I wanted to try the lipgloss, lipstick, blush, eyeshadow, pressed powder…hmm…no thanks, I just wanted to be left alone that time and grabbed a few of my daily essentials (wet tissues, dry tissues – in pocket packs, cream bar, moisturizer etc.) before quickly grabbing a SHEENe lip gloss (hehe…lumayo kasi saglit yung saleslady). I got the P1 lipgloss which has a light pink hue. My lips didn’t exactly had that same shade when I tried it on, however, it actually looks pretty good, glossy but still natural looking – NOT naglalangis.=) It doesn’t feel sticky at all plus it has a nice smell…hmm basta fruity, all in all this one’s a great bargain if you want nice glossy lips without spending much.=)

for a tiny bottle, i think it's worth it hehe...i think this cost me either P25-P50 (can't remember kasi if it was on sale) anyway...if you're into aromatherapy then you'll enjoy using this product. i'm not sure though what lavender and rosemary should smell like when mixed but this body wash kind of smells like an ointment hehe...but it does feel great...kakarelax.=)

i think this is the cheapest pimple gel available in the market today (around P60?), which is why i thought of trying it out in case i run out of clearasil hehe...;p anyway, this product did nothing for me. it didn't dry up my pimple, as promised. even though i tried it out for a week...nothing...hay...i guess you can't really expect much from P60. it doesn't even sting...hehe...

ah...another Allue product, you might be wondering what's up with all these Allue products that i seem to have so much of them...hehe...well, firstly, it's cheap! hehe...and it doesn't irritate my skin AND doesn't make me look like a tart. haha...if you remember (i think) philosophy's beauty books, then this product sort of has the same idea.=) it's not that big though but it already covers your makeup basics, powder, blush, lipgloss, AND teeny tiny makeup brushes.=) this one is obviously meant for kids so i think i'm quite safe from getting any breakouts from this product. AND since IT IS meant for kids, expect the colors to be simpler and meant for creating the "natural look". that's ok for me actually since i'm not a fan of dark shades or anything that would make me look like a clown. you might want to use a different blush brush for this as the free blush brush is so teeny it makes putting on your blush quite tiring hehe...and para maging even din ang lagay niyo. don't expect much from the face powder too - mine's white so it won't really do much for your face (it won't even out your skin tone or minimize your eyebags), use a separate foundation nalang.

available in three "themes", this retails for about P100 in hbc. if you like simple makeup, you'll love this product.=)

so far this is definitely the best foundation that i've ever tried! too bad the compact's not refillable - ang ganda ng mirror...er...ang ganda ko sa mirror na to haha kaya sayang...haha...anyway, my dad bought this for me so i didn't have to shell out around hmm...P700? for this.
whenever i use it, it easily evens out my skin color making me look instantly "fresh" hehe...i use light beige and its just perfect for my skin tone (fair).=) other good things about this product is that it has vitamin c and licorice extract which promises to be good for your skin plus it has spf 15 so it also provides your face with some protection from the sun.=) i highly recommend this product, it feels light on your skin, is definitely not cakey and never caused me to get any pimples.=)

ever since high school, i've always been a fan of anything that has tea tree oil so i was really excited to use this product when i saw that it also contains white tea - bale, may anti pimples and anti aging properties siya...dapat.
obviously, you use this just like any other facial cleanser, it does feel good on my skin, very refreshing actually and my skin felt tight after using it - which is a good thing right? mabibilib na sana ko sa product na to but i got a pimple just a couple of days after using it. i don't know if it's just because my skin is sensitive o nakakapimple din siya - or it's that time of the month lang. hehe...
